Writing is tough. It can be hard to find a quiet space, it can be lonely, it can be hard to prioritise, and having to buy a coffee every hour to work in a café can be hard on your wallet.

We love writers.

So.

Out of Joint would like to invite writers to come and work in our Writers Room at our HQ near Finsbury Park in North London. It can be booked for up to three weeks at a time, which needn’t be consecutive; and is completely free. It has a desk and a chair, a rug, a door, wifi, and natural (and unnatural) light.

You can let our cats wander in for a cuddle if you like, or keep them out.

When you need a break, you can have a (free) cuppa with the team, and we’ll be on hand to chat if you feel stuck or if you want to share something you have written.

HOW TO APPLY
We are now taking bookings for the period mid-April to 31 July. (The room is booked up until mid April)
Our hours are 10am-6pm Monday to Friday. To apply, email [email protected], putting Writers Room in the subject, and let us know a bit about yourself and what you are working on. Include your phone number; let us know ideal dates. We’ll take it from there.
